CHOOSING LENSES
We offer several lens options to suit different needs:
- Classic lenses — included in the price of every frame, with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating as standard
- Blue-light filter lenses — reduce eye strain from screens, ideal for long hours in front of a computer
- Premium thin lenses (1.67 high-index) — up to 35% thinner and lighter than standard lenses, recommended for stronger prescriptions
- Light-responsive lenses — clear indoors, darken automatically in sunlight, acting as glasses and sunglasses in one
- Progressive lenses — seamless correction for near, intermediate, and distance vision in a single pair
All frames include classic single-vision lenses in the base price. Upgrades can be added during checkout.
All Specler lenses come with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating as standard. If you upgrade to blue-light or premium thin lenses, UV protection is also included. Classic lenses do not include UV protection — this is one practical reason to consider an upgrade if you spend time outdoors.
If you spend long hours in front of a computer or phone, blue-light filter lenses are a good choice. They reduce glare and filter a portion of high-energy blue light, which can help ease eye strain and fatigue over the course of a long screen day.
Blue-light lenses have a subtle warm hue that is most noticeable under some lighting conditions. For most people, it is barely perceptible in everyday use. If you prefer completely neutral-looking lenses, our classic option is the right choice.
Light-responsive (photochromic) lenses are UV-activated, and car windshields block most UV light — so they will darken less or not at all inside a vehicle. If you need sun protection while driving, prescription sunglasses with tinted lenses are a better fit.
Yes. You can add tinted or polarized lenses to most frames during checkout and enter your prescription at the same time. Our team reviews every prescription order before production to make sure everything is correct.
PRESCRIPTION TYPES
Single-vision lenses correct for one distance — usually distance or screen work. They are the most common choice and are included in the base price of every frame.
Progressive lenses correct for multiple distances in a single lens — near, intermediate, and far — without a visible line. They are a great option if you need reading correction as well as distance correction and prefer not to carry two pairs. Progressives are available as a paid add-on from +200 €.
For a more detailed breakdown, visit our Lens Guide — it covers both options with everything you need to make the right choice.
We support most prescriptions, including stronger ones. If your SPH is stronger than ±4.00 or your CYL is above ±2.00, we recommend upgrading to our premium thin (1.67 high-index) lenses — they are up to 35% thinner and lighter than standard lenses, and make a noticeable difference in comfort and appearance.
For strong prescriptions, frames with a slightly thicker rim also tend to look better, as they help conceal lens thickness.
Our team reviews every prescription before production. If anything needs clarification, we will contact you before your glasses go into production.
Yes. All lenses include anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating as standard. Blue-light and premium thin lenses also include UV protection. You will never be charged extra for these essentials.
ADD YOUR PRESCRIPTION
Yes. Simply upload your prescription or enter the values during checkout. If you do not have it digitally, you can also send us a photo after placing your order.
If you are unsure whether your prescription is suitable, our team can quickly check it for you.
Yes. If you do not have your prescription ready at checkout, just email it to info@specler.ee with your order number. We will not begin production until we have received and confirmed everything is correct.
Your prescription contains a few key values:
- OD / OS — right eye (OD) and left eye (OS)
- SPH (Sphere) — the main correction for nearsightedness (−) or farsightedness (+)
- CYL (Cylinder) — correction for astigmatism
- AXIS — direction of astigmatism correction, given in degrees
- ADD — near addition, used for progressive or reading lenses
- PD (Pupillary Distance) — distance between your pupils in mm
If you are unsure how to interpret your prescription, just upload it as it is — our specialists will take care of the rest.
You can also find a full explanation in our Lens Guide.
Most prescriptions are valid for 1–2 years. If yours is older than that, we recommend getting a fresh one from your optometrist — eyesight can change over time, and an outdated prescription can affect both comfort and vision quality.
Not at the moment. To order prescription glasses, you will need a valid prescription from your optometrist or eye doctor. In many countries, employers are required to cover the cost of an eye test every two years if you work with screens — it is worth checking your rights with your HR department.
If you work daily in front of a computer or display screen, your employer may be legally required to cover the cost of prescription glasses for screen use. Contact your HR department and ask about their procedure for vision care benefits. They will let you know which documents are needed — typically your prescription and a purchase invoice from us.
PUPILLARY DISTANCE (PD)
The easiest way is to use our Virtual Try-On tool, available on every product page. Simply open the tool, allow camera access, and it will automatically measure your PD while you preview how the frames look on your face. No manual measuring needed.
If your PD is already listed on your prescription, you can enter it directly during checkout. And if you are unsure, our team can help verify it before your glasses go into production.
This is common — many optometrists do not include PD on prescriptions by default. You can measure it using our Virtual Try-On tool, ask your optometrist to add it, or contact us and we will help figure it out before production starts.
PD (pupillary distance) tells us exactly where to position the optical centre of each lens relative to your pupils. If the lenses are not centred correctly, your vision can feel off — even if the prescription itself is accurate. That is why we either measure it through the Virtual Try-On tool or confirm it with you before production begins.

DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery time depends on the type of glasses ordered:
- Non-prescription styles (blue-light glasses, plain sunglasses) usually arrive within 1–3 business days.
- Single-vision prescription glasses typically take 7–10 business days.
- Stronger prescriptions with custom lens requirements may take a little longer, as the lenses are made specifically for you. If this applies to your order, we will let you know in advance.
- Progressive lenses are custom-made and may take 2–4 weeks. The estimated delivery time is always shown when selecting these lenses during checkout.
If there is ever a delay, we will contact you directly with an update.
Yes, shipping is always free. No delivery charges are added at checkout — we take care of it.
We currently ship to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland. If you would like delivery to another country, please get in touch — we are continuously working to expand our reach.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link by email. You can use this to follow your package in real time.
PRODUCTION & PROCESSING
Production begins once we have received your prescription and confirmed all details. Our team reviews every prescription order before the lenses are made — if anything needs clarification, we will contact you first.
If your order has not yet entered production, we can usually accommodate changes. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@specler.ee. Once production has started, changes are no longer possible.
Returns & Warranty
Returns & Warranty
RETURNS
Yes. Most glasses can be returned free of charge within 14 days of receiving them.
The following are eligible for return:
- All single-vision glasses, including those with premium thin lenses
- Blue-light glasses (non-prescription)
- Non-prescription sunglasses and prescription sunglasses with single-vision lenses
The following cannot be returned, as they are fully custom-made:
- Progressive lenses (including progressive sunglasses)
- Light-responsive (photochromic) lenses
Both of these options are clearly marked as non-returnable during the lens selection process, so you will always know before placing your order.
Please note: the 14-day return right applies to private customers only, not legal entities.
Simply email us at info@specler.ee with your order number within 14 days of receiving your order. Our team will take care of the rest — including return shipping at no cost to you.
If your prescription glasses feel off — blurry, uncomfortable, or incorrect — please contact us straight away. Our team will review your order and find the right solution. We stand behind the quality of every pair we produce.
We pack every order carefully in protective packaging, so damage in transit is very rare. But if your glasses do arrive damaged, please take clear photos of the glasses and the packaging and email them to info@specler.ee with your order number. We will arrange a replacement at no extra cost.
EXCHANGE & REMAKES
If your glasses are eligible for return, you can exchange them within 14 days. Simply return the original pair and place a new order for the frame you prefer, or contact us directly and we will help you sort it out.
If there was an error in your lenses due to a mistake on our side, we will remake your glasses at no charge. If the prescription data submitted was incorrect, please contact us — we will assess the situation and do our best to find a fair solution.
WARRANTY
Yes. All Specler glasses come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something is not right with your pair, contact us and we will take care of it.
Traditional opticians carry expensive branded frames and charge separately for lenses — often without showing the total price upfront. At Specler, we sell our own brand directly to you online, with lenses already included in the price. No middlemen, no brand markup, full price transparency. You get high-quality glasses made with lenses from ISO-certified European labs, at a fair price — with free shipping and free returns included.
Frames & Fit
Frames & Fit
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Every product page includes a size guide with the exact frame measurements: lens width, bridge width, and temple length. The easiest way to find your fit is to compare these with a pair of glasses you already own and are comfortable in.
If you are between sizes or unsure, our Virtual Try-On tool lets you preview exactly how each frame looks on your face before buying.
Frame measurements are usually shown in a format like 50-18-145:
- 50 — lens width in mm
- 18 — bridge width (the distance between the lenses) in mm
- 145 — temple length (the arm that rests over your ear) in mm
A smaller lens width and shorter temple length suit narrower faces. A wider bridge and wider lens work better for broader faces. If in doubt, use the Virtual Try-On tool to see how a frame sits on you.
As a general guide:
- Round faces: angular or square frames add definition
- Square faces: round or oval frames soften a strong jaw line
- Oval faces: most frame shapes work well
- Heart-shaped faces: wider frames at the bottom, such as aviators or round shapes, balance the forehead
That said, personal style matters most. Our Virtual Try-On tool is the best way to find what works for you — no guesswork needed.
Yes — through our Virtual Try-On tool, available on every product page. It uses your device camera to map the frames onto your face in real time, so you can see how each pair looks before you commit. And if you do order and the fit is not right, returns are free.
MATERIALS & DURABILITY
Our frames are made from high-quality acetate and lightweight metal alloys, depending on the style. Each product page lists the specific material used. All frames are designed to be durable and comfortable for everyday use.
Yes. All Specler lenses are made from a lightweight, impact-resistant material suited to everyday wear.

HOW IT WORKS
Our Virtual Try-On tool uses your device camera to map frames onto your face in real time, so you can see how any pair looks on you before you buy. Open any product page, click the Try-On button, allow camera access, and the tool launches directly in your browser — no app download needed.
Yes, it works on both desktop and mobile. For the best experience, use it in good lighting with your face clearly visible to the camera.
PD MEASUREMENT
The tool measures your pupillary distance automatically as you preview the frames. Our system is calibrated to within ±0.5 mm, which is precise enough for standard single-vision lenses. For progressive lenses, our team confirms measurements before production begins.
The tool gives a very accurate representation of how a frame will look on you in terms of size and proportion. Colours and textures are rendered as faithfully as possible, though your screen settings can affect how they appear. Checking the frame dimensions on the product page alongside the try-on is always a good idea for a confident decision.
